Crashing Issues in ESO, could it be my GTX 760?

Anyone else running a GTX 760 out there? I've read, way too far after the fact, that many people had crashing issues using this card in the early beta stages of the game. I can't really find any information that's newer than March, so I'm not sure if it's no longer an issue, or if folks just gave up.

Every 30 minutes or so the game is crashing on me, getting the pop-up crash report box. I can re-start the game right away and log back in, but it's happening far too often to be simply coincidence. Anyone else having trouble with this?

I have the game running on its own SSD. My PC is as follows:

Intel Core i5-2500K @ 3.30Ghz

GIGABYTE Z68X-UD3H-B3 motherboard

Microsoft Windows 7

EVGA SuperClocked GeForce GTX 760 2GB

Corsair RM1000 1000W psu

4GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1866 RAM

What are you doing at the time of the crash? I have been experiencing similar issues since the 1.3 patch. That said I know my problems are not hardware related and the problems only happen in large AvA fights. If you suspect it's your video card start by re-installing your drives and selecting the "clean install" option. Then try to run a benchmark to put your card under some stress to see how it reacts. I know several people who use a GTX 760 without issue.

I gave up.

My card however is a GTX260, so only the symptoms are the same.  I hope you find a solution to your problem.

My actions at the time of crashing range from sprinting on horseback to attempting a port via Shrine. It frequently occurs when I would otherwise require a loading screen, usually when porting, but not always.

Its the game, but if I get started I'll just get yelled at for being toxic, so I'll take the highroad and bite my tongue, figuratively speaking.

Try this:  1st upgrade your video drivers to the Latest Driver Version: 340.52 and see if that fixes it.

If not, then in C:\Users\Username\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live folder, find the UserSettings.txt, open it and change the below lines from -1 to 0 (examples given)

SET RequestedNumJobThreads "0"
SET RequestedNumWorkerThreads "0"

Save it, then see if the crashes go away.

If not, then turn your Shadows to OFF in the Video settings.

See if the crashes go away.

If the game still crashes, then download the ESO Toolbox from esoui.com (you can use this to change the two lines above, if you're uncomfortable with editing the UserSettings file).  In-game, in the top section of the Addon Settings, you'll see a bunch of graphical stuff to toggle on or off.  Leave Particles toggled to ON, because there's a bug with turning Particles off, so you don't want to do that.

Basically, you'll have to change one setting at a time to see which is causing your crashes.  After a few hours, you will be adding "P.I.T.A." to your vocabulary and maybe a few other colorful words.

On the flip side, you can just try to tough it out and hope that they fix it sometime soon.

My game doesn't crash, but ever since the "hotfix" for some bug that they introduced with the 1.2 Lighting changes, I have this stupid ... "stick" where I can't make my camera turn while the character is moving forward.  Trying to figure out which setting is causing it, is driving me this side of insane.

I'm talking Joker insane.

(I had to edit to stay on the high road, its frustrating)

I've been reading on the Tamriel Foundry forums that since 1.3.3 there's been a memory leak problem. I may have to just wait around for Them to fix it >.<

I've had crashing issues with my R9 290x and ESO; for some reason I BSOD during specific graphic scenes while in ultra high mode (mostly bright light scenes)  Nothing cures it but running at a lower graphics setting that I've found :/
