Its the game, but if I get started I'll just get yelled at for being toxic, so I'll take the highroad and bite my tongue, figuratively speaking.
Try this: 1st upgrade your video drivers to the Latest Driver Version: 340.52 and see if that fixes it.
If not, then in C:\Users\Username\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live folder, find the UserSettings.txt, open it and change the below lines from -1 to 0 (examples given)
SET RequestedNumJobThreads "0"
SET RequestedNumWorkerThreads "0"
Save it, then see if the crashes go away.
If not, then turn your Shadows to OFF in the Video settings.
See if the crashes go away.
If the game still crashes, then download the ESO Toolbox from esoui.com (you can use this to change the two lines above, if you're uncomfortable with editing the UserSettings file). In-game, in the top section of the Addon Settings, you'll see a bunch of graphical stuff to toggle on or off. Leave Particles toggled to ON, because there's a bug with turning Particles off, so you don't want to do that.
Basically, you'll have to change one setting at a time to see which is causing your crashes. After a few hours, you will be adding "P.I.T.A." to your vocabulary and maybe a few other colorful words.
On the flip side, you can just try to tough it out and hope that they fix it sometime soon.
My game doesn't crash, but ever since the "hotfix" for some bug that they introduced with the 1.2 Lighting changes, I have this stupid ... "stick" where I can't make my camera turn while the character is moving forward. Trying to figure out which setting is causing it, is driving me this side of insane.
I'm talking Joker insane.
(I had to edit to stay on the high road, its frustrating)
