As minimal spoilers as possible but some expected.

I haven't completed the Mage's guild quests on any of my characters so I don't know the full mechanics of getting to Eyevea. As I have read, you get portals in Mage's Guildhalls once and during the completion of the final Mage's Guild quest. Do you guys know if there is any other way?

The problem is I soured on playing my Woodworker and and I'm pretty far along with crafting on him (over 25, 7/8 bows and shields). I really don't want to have to level the character just to get access to the crafting centers at the end of the Mage's and Fighter's guild questlines. Any ideas?

Group with someone who's there then port to them maybe?

Why do you want to put your crafter there? What's special about the crafting areas in Eyevea?

Until you have done the questline Eyevea will be full of high level Daedra.  You could (maybe, not sure?) get the wayshrine, but being there would be very hazardous and anyone who completed the quests would be phased.
Until then you may want to work with other setups, or have somebody who has completed the areas make items for you.
Alternatively, if you are using a different character, feed them your woodworking stuff.  I'm currently maxed on everything except enchanting, with a lot of free skill points, and many skyshards yet to get.  I've grabbed less than 4 in Cyrodill total, and have not completed most of the skyshard zone achievements in the VR zones (some are less than half done.)  What I don't have in crafting:  Extended time of effect for foods and potions, 2nd and 3rd ranks of hirelings, improvement utilization skills (less improvement items to upgrade.)  *I have spent a few points in random weapon lines, have most but not all my class skills, maxed resto staff, maxed racials, several guild skills, several world magic points, several in armor lines including maxed light armor, and 10 free skill points at last count.*  Given that I have a whole zone, plus all those Cyrodill skyshards, and the random skyshards I missed, I can easily fill at least all the item improvement/upgrade skills.  Also, solo deconstructing for woodworking will be completed before VR10.  That's without bothering to craft or trade for decon.

TL/DR:  Eyevea will be phased and you will die IF you can even port to somebody there if you are under 40 minimum.  Pick up the skills on another toon, or use friends.

think the point of him getting there is to craft the mages guild items,  to be able to craft those you need 8 researched traits, so putting a few skill points in wouldn't help him much till he researched everything again...  and well that no fun for anyone to have to redo all of that....

but im pretty sure the only way you will be able to get to those crafting tables is to finish the quest line...
