It seems to be going up and down, I've been trying to sign up for the past 30 minutes or so with no luck. I'm not giving up though, they'll get my application one way or the other!

Yea I don't know what the deal is but I can't put my application in.

Cool! Will sign-up as soon as I get home. I'm hoping that it's an improved version of GW2 for what I've been reading. GW2 is nice, is a game I wanna love badly but it didn't make me want to play WvW/PvP like DAoC or Warhammer Online. Maybe it's the culling, maybe it's me. I just can't play past casual - but I do have five 80's with all crafting maxed at 400 just playing casual PvE.

Really? I keep getting an error page when I send mine. 15 times in a row, still same result.

I hope my application was actually submitted. I received a "We're sorry. The page you are looking for cannot be found." screen after clicking on submit.

Update for those having trouble, reposted from the Elder Scrolls Online website: Please be aware that our site is currently experiencing heavy traffic. We are aware that some people are having issues signing up for beta. If you are having trouble signing up, we encourage you to try again or try back later today. When you sign up will not impact your chances of getting into The Elder Scrolls Online beta. Crash- if you got the 404 "Turn Back Adventurer" page, your application didn't go through. When Leo registered, he got a signup confirmation and I didn't. So I'm still trying. I guess they just got a lot more traffic than they expected.

Signed up! According to the little thingy on the side, my chances are 'Excellent' but we shall see. Not that I'm in any way tired of or over GW2 – ESO just looks great! Maybe it would force me to finally give up my WoW sub, lol.

How long do mmo's usually stay in beta? Does a 2013 release seem plausible?

I'm so excited for this game. I've played every single Elder scrolls game. I love the culture, story, drama, crating, dragons, housing, graphics etc.... It's been part of my life since 1996. :) That and Diablo kept my gaming attention for years. :) I also signed up for the beta without any problem. I hope those that are having issues will have their apps in soon. Good luck everyone.... I too want to remind you that if you do happen to get in to not say you are in or anything. I know it's exciting and it can slip. I just don't want anyone to get into trouble. Looking forward to see you all there :)

lol yea always thought that non discloser thing is funny like how are they going to know i told someone i was in the beta haha . i can see it now.... on raidcall woot i`m in the beta for eso , knock knock ... sec brt someone`s at the door . opens the door and it`s the eso police sorry we heard you told someone you were in beta , err i just said that like 1 min ago wtf haha .

Finally got the signup to work :p

the only thing that concerns me is how all their games in the elder scrolls line , all needed the addition of addon mods to make them good . as without some of those mods the game was rather dull and shortsighted on stuff . morrowind was still the best i think, skyrim seemed to be missing a lot of stuff,hopefully they have learned after so many of their games needed mods to fix simple stuff like better crafting, better clothes, weapons etc

Sporkimata and I both signed up. I got Excellent and he got Above Average. I'm guessing it's because I've played more MMO's. We are both really excited about it!

Signed up also XD I love Guild Wars 2 but I having been hoping for a long time they would make an Elder Scrolls MMO. So excited!!!

As Fog said in a previous post dont forget to put Gaiscioch in the guild field as we are likely to be on their radar as a guild invite.

@Tirean, even if someone has gotten an invite, they can't say if they did due to NDA. When the time comes, the Beta Forums will open up for those in it and if we use our names from here, we'll know who each other is but can only discuss it behind their closed doors.
