Eiahns Map Clear for Thursday 9/18 - Claiming

Hey Everyone,

Here is what happened so you can be sure to claim things.

1) Eiahn's post shows that he at least did it and you get the 10 points for it.  So claim it.

His internet decided to be all rude and stuff and he wasn't sure what happened.

2) Claim my Briseadh's Pickup Group that should be listed just above his I believe due to the timing.  Mine will get you the credit for all the things we did.

Eiahn and I agreed to this because it was the fastest way to just get it up there for you all to grab your points for being there last night.  Thanks all for being there and I know in the mix we ended up tag teaming it when his internet got him stuck behind in the Public Dungeon.  However that was a GOOD thing.  We picked someone up who enjoyed us taking him for the ride and joined the guild as a guest.

Anyway, hopefully the next runs go smoothly, but Eiahn, I'm going to try to be around in case your rather bouncy RL and internet try to mess up the next ones.  At least, our tag teaming this week and covering helped pull off the events even if I did miss a boss in the Rift and didn't realize it until last night (two night's later).  HA!

I do apologize to everyone!

Its not the first time either to be honest and if those RL and internet hiccups become too much of an annoyance for the participants (or might already be) preventing them from enjoying the activity, I will step down from leading the events all together... The whole reason I put those events together on the calendar is because I really enjoy doing them and wanted to give a chance for people to group up, enjoy themselves and get some stuff completed on their map as well as level their toon.

I do not wish for peeps to stop coming to the events because the leader cannot be reliable while leading them...that would sadden me more then anything. Unfortunately, as much as I want to be a reliable and "you can count on me" type of leader, I lack control over my jittery internet and the health issues with my wife will not go away and can take me away from the computer at any given moment.

Sigh, don't know.

It's okay.  We had a blast and it all worked out.  We are averaging at least 12 people at each one which is a nice number for this kind of event so everyone manages to get credit, though I love how ESO did fix grouping some time ago to alleviate issues we had last year with people getting credit.  We even picked up a new person who is checking us out since we even repeated a leg of the public dungeon.

Real life is understandable and as a family we have no issues backing up a leader when we know there are issues.  Even if I wasn't there I am sure someone else would have stepped up and kept the ball rolling.  =)  It's how Gaiscioch works.

Now if you didn't show up at all and never left a message that you were having issues I might have to write you a note about that.  ::grins::  However, you do your best to keep us posted before hand despite some of it having no indication when it will happen.  I understand this since MS is totally unpredictable too and I never know what I can manage some days until it's time to do it.

Praying that your wife's back issues and everything get worked out.  I'm sure that shot on Tuesday was NOT pleasant even if in the long run it is supposed to help.  By the way, my sister-in-law had some back issues and one of the things that is helping her a lot is going to a personal trainer who is helping her restrengthen your core muscles in ways that did not exasperate her issues.  She also had those "wonderful" shots.  It's something to think about if she isn't already at least doing physical therapy or insurance is past letting her do more of that.  I know that with anything it is a fun catch 22 because you really need to move, but the body is screaming it shouldn't.  Mine does that every day!
