A thought for you dedicated gatherers. There is a mod that tracks the locations of resource nodes for you. It is the one labeled XrysGatherer in the forum post.

I was looking at this one. It made me wonder something.............
Do my addons all load for every toon once they are installed, or are they toon dependent? For example - I may want this one for a gatherer alt, but not for a main. Swapping out for different toons is fine, but id rather not have to. Maybe someone will make a toon dependent addon mod (a mod for mods, haha)
you can easily turn on/off addons from the System menu in game :) There is an ability in the crafting line to make nodes more obvious and it works well enough, not sure why this add on is necessary but I guess it would make things easier.
From what I can see of it there are different display modes and you are not required to have a big obnoxious screen up. However, as far as having it on all the time, you may want to consider that as you will find nodes while you are travelling around on your alt as well.
