I am getting stairs-phobia in ESO

Kazoom... I ride or run into stairs, swoosh... I fall through the bridge...

Opened a door, next thing I know I am falling throw the void, forever and ever.

This kind of glitches happen about once every hour or two that I play.  It is seriously getting old...

Wonder is it just me or is part of everyone's ESO life?

It would be more bearable if ZOS implement a better stuck command, say it move you away from the stuck spot to somewhere close by.  We got lucky since we are in a big guild so we can always travel to guildies but we still need to ride/run back to where we were going from the way shrine.

I am second guessing all the stairs and bridges, especially on my way back from the way shrine...

I've had this happen twice for my entire history of playing the game (since PTS). So if this is happening as often as you are advising, I would send in a help ticket to see if they can figure out why you in particular are dealing with this bug so often.

I can only imagine how frustrating this must be. I'm sorry you are having to deal with it.

Quite sure Sheogorath has got something to do with this.

On side note, yup, it happened twice to me, on both accounts re-logging solved the issue, I believe I alt-f4 on both occasion. I'm hopeful they'll fix this in time to come :) they did fixed the table glitch that does the same thing in Cyrodiil pretty fast. 

Yesterday while fighting inside some Veloth-forgotten cave in the Rift, I found myself impaled on an ice stalactite up in the air - It seemed very entertaining to several of my fellow explorers who kindly stopped to snap pictures.

As always I appreciated the need for /stuck followed by a 460 gold repair bill. Just another day in the life of a Tribunal's templar...

I have fallen once more, and ended landing on a distant shore.  I have fallen through solid ground, from atop the dragon mound.  Fungal floors let me down, and I found myself in some strange town, when eventually I did land from this falling trip.
I've seen the land looking up from below, and drifted to places I did not know.  Screaming long enough to get booted, until the spam filters were mooted.  So falling has been my bane too, I'm sorry it happened to you, it's amazing how solid ground can lose it's grip!

*Hope you laughed... and yes, I have fallen through random places around the world, although less frequently as time has gone on.  I also had a flying horse for a while in beta, for somewhat similar reasons (ground collision bugs woohoo!)*

Seeing how I've fallen through the world or actually gotten stuck on terrain quite a few times I do feel your pain. On the note of repair bills, I now know to take off all my gear before trying to get unstuck. That way you avoid the ridiculous repair costs.

I need to get that quick bar mod that Skutrug has in his screencap. That looks so much more useful than the wheel, which was obviously designed with a console controller in mind.

Thanks for the "get naked and /stuck" tip - I never thought of that but will from now on - It will just add flavor to the screenshots :-)

I have only once had the "falling" experience and that was 1 or 2 weeks after launch.  I actually thinking how refreshing it was that I rarely get stuck in ESO.  I just accepted getting stuck as a normal part of MMO's until ESO.  It is the one of things that I can put on the "good" side of the list.  I believe most folks are relatively stable now; but apparently the Daedra are picking on some poor souls still. 

If you put a ticket in and get a fix - I'd be curious to see why this happens to some.

I get the stairs bug every day I play.  I't's been a problem for me since beta.

Doesn't matter if i'm walking, running, or riding a horse.  And once you go into the stairs, you can't walk out.  It traps you in.

Sometimes, if i'm fast enough, i can back out before I go into the stairs too far.  But more often than not, I get stuck.

Before a guildie told me how to teleport to another guildie, I was using the /stuck command, which means insta-death.

I report the stairs issue all the time, but it's not fixed.  And it happens with any stairs.

The falling through stairs and doors and such seems to be due to the fact that the last thing their engine loads is Collusion. Meaning, that even though the graphics might have rendered, that doesn't mean its solid yet. My best advice, and what I have to do when I encounter the issues, is to give it anywhere from 30 to 45 seconds to load after using wayshrines or anything like that. It sucks a lot, but I'm not sure what else to really do besides trying to repair and defragmenting your hard drive.

That makes a lot of sense.  Might have to do with the fact that I am using a pretty old computer.

It is sufficient to handle the game at high graphics setting but maybe it is lacking a bit.

I have this experience at least twice a play session. Your not the only one. I also wouldn't chalk it up to bad hardware or a slow computer either. I'm running a I7 4770k with sli 780's and I still get it (as mentioned before) about twice a play session.

I've been away from the game for the last 2 weeks.  First time I log in today, my heavy armor crafter got stuck going up 2 steps into the crafting building.  lol.   TWO steps.  I was up to my knees in floor; couldn't craft, and couldn't exit.  I really hope they fix the stairs bug.

If you're getting stuck this often, you might wanna consider reinstalling or something.  I've never had this happen to me.

Be glad it's not affecting you.  But i'm not one out of a million.  This is affecting many of us.

Believe me, many of us have reinstalled, etc.  There are several threads on the support site about this.  It's a known issue that isn't getting any fix.
