Well launch has been relatively smooth so far. I would say that if you are aching to get your hands on something new to play which has been done quite differently than your usual MMO then I would say definitely get the game. If you are still hesitating, try getting one of those guest passes which lets you test the game for 7 days. I'm fairly sure that playing game couple days will give much better image of the game. And there is always youtube where you can see videos what the game holds inside.
