Get Involved in Social Adventures
Some of you may wonder, what is this Social Adventure thing and what does it have to do with Gaiscioch? Social Adventures are recreational gatherings of Gaiscioch members to play other games that do not fit our chapter requirements. These can range from FPS games to coop RPGS.
You can earn Social Points by grouping up with other members and claiming your activities using the social system. There are no leader or follower in the social system, just participants. So anyone from the group can post it and the others can claim it. The more people involved, the more points you earn per hour of play.
We have many adventures currently running including: MU Legend, Lord of the Rings Online, Fortnite, Destiny 2 and many more. You can also run an open adventure for any game not included in our list. Play enough of it and we'll even add it to the list!
The underlying goal of Social Adventures is to bridge the gaps from when a member takes a break on an official chapter to when they rejoin a new or existing chapter. We want to provide a way they can stay involved with us even if it's not in a primary chapter.
Mu Legend Patch Inc!
Over the past month we've had a blast on Friday nights grouping up and doing dungeons, rifts and other activities in MU Legend. This month their big territory control patch goes live and we're looking to lock us down a piece of the world putting our name on a territory. Starting on January 11th, 2018 MU Legend will move to Thursday Nights at 6PM PT for a while. We will assess how the Territory Control patch goes and if our community continues to show interest we'll likely keep the event slot open for a while. Multiple Destinys, One Family!
For those of you playing Destiny 2, you can find GSCH under the helm of Haggal, and HOL under the helm of Pookha. Either of these are great places to hook up with new people and play a little Destiny 2 on PC. I will be working toward opening a small Destiny 2 community to mirror Haggal's on the PS4.
