Undead Tome Tactic Fragments Part Three - Wraith Grinding

In an effort to be better prepared for Sigmar's Crypts and the Tomb Kings, I am writing a few grinding guides for Undead Tome Tactic Fragments. This third entry in the series is concerned with gaining 1000 Wraith kills.

A fairly good place to get Wraith kills is in northern Shadowlands, in the Broken Dune PQ (45K, 3k; High Elf Chapter 5 Easy PQ). In Stage 2 of this PQ, each of the four Shyish Fonts spawns three Wraiths (two Shadow Font Spirits, and one Shadow Spirit). During this stage, there is also a neutral Dark Elf that walks around to each Font in a clockwise direction. The best thing to do is get one Font ahead of her and also move clockwise, killing the Wraiths by each Font that you pass. (Note: if you are high level, the Dark Elf poses no threat, but it can be a little annoying if you accidentally damage her; she follows you around harrasing you and being a nuisance.) The Wraiths will respawn a little slower than it takes you to kill them, so just keep moving clockwise, one Font at a time. As long as you DO NOT kill the fonts themselves, then you can keep killing the respawns until the timer gets close to running out. Wait until 1 minute left on the timer to kill the Shyish fonts. You can usually get 50 - 100 Wraiths each time you do this PQ.

BONUSES: In Stage 3 of this same PQ, there are four Shadow Darksouls. These are Wights, so you can make a tiny bit of progress towards your Wight kills here also.

Note that the Stage 1 mobs (Shadow Wights) are NOT actually wights. They are skeletons, so you can work on you skeleton kills here if you need to.
