Undead Tome Tactic Fragments Part Four - Wight Grinding

In an effort to be better prepared for Sigmar's Crypts and the Tomb Kings, I am writing a few grinding guides for Undead Tome Tactic Fragments. This fourth entry in the series is concerned with gaining 1000 Wight kills.

This one is somewhat mind-numbing, even for a grind, so that you will be forewarned. Head out to High Pass, and make your way to the Temple of Change PQ (Empire Chapter 11, Normal). Make your way behind the Temple and you will find a spot where you can CAREFULLY drop down the cliff side to the Destruction area below (drop down at ~27k, 44k). Head almost straight north towards the ruined keep that you can see on your map. This is the Keep of Asavar Kul, which is located at 34k, 23k.

Work your way through the courtyard into the area right in front of the keep doors. Here, you will find a few Kulian Black Knights (five of them). These are Wights, so kill them and wait the ~1.5 minute respawn. Repeat. Every now and then, a mob named Ralthan Kul will wander by. He is also a Wight, so you can kill him to add to your count. I got about 90 kills in half an hour here, but it was especially boring for a grind. To spice it up a little bit, you can kill the wights, then go back out to the courtyard to the SW in between respawns and work on the "Broken Men, Broken Blades" Trophy Item unlock.

So, this gets you to 4 Undead Tome Tactic Fragments just through grinding, which is enough to purchase the first Undead Tome Tactic from the Librarian (Benediction of Morr). If you have been working on the other types of Tactic Fragments for the undead, you will not need to do all four grinding fragments. As I mentioned earlier, it seems that getting the full set of tactic fragments is almost impossible for Order. As long as you have gotten the second Tome Tactic (Benediction of Winters) consider yourself successful in this endeavor. Cheers!
