Cead Mile Failte!

Just one more month until we turn 21 as a community. We've a lot in store for the close of 2022 and a whole lot of fun to get involved in. As we near the peak season we have a few big events to kick off the fall and winter seasons.

First is our Annual Extra Life Charity Livestream Event which will take place Nov. 3-6th. The second big event is on Nov. 13th at 3PM PT which is our Annual Gaiscioch Community Conference live on Twitch. Let's dive in and give you all the details!

This year's Gaiscioch for Extra Life Charity Livestream Event is launching on Nov. 3rd at 11PM PT and will run through Nov 6th at 9PM PT. Get ready for 4 Days of raffles, games, and fun as we raise money for the Children's Miracle Network.

What's next for Gaiscioch? - Fall 2022 Edition

For the longest time, our sights have been on Ashes of Creation as the next logical step. With it's massive world, dynamic events, city building and core systems that help drive community interaction. It has a lot of promise. That said it also has a dark cloud looming overhead in the form of always-on PvP. With that in place, I do not see our community maintaining our numbers for long.

Gaiscioch Family Patreons:

Want to give a special shout-out to those members who are helping enable our community to do great things. Their financial support has allowed us to expand the tools at our disposal and maintain the community without burning a hole in my personal savings. While a still do pay a bit out of pocket their contributions have prevented me from having to work side gigs to keep us afloat and for that, I am eternally grateful. Gaiscioch Family Promotions:

I wanted to take a moment to say congratulations to a few members this month for accepting their next credo and stepping into a new role in our family.

War Council (Tiarna)

The War Council is comprised of members who have stepped up to lead events and activities for the family. They have proven themselves on the battlefield and have collected 25 signatures of approval from their followers. They have accepted the Mark of Service credo and understand that Leadership is not a position of power, it is a position of service. They have committed themselves to hosting fun and friendly events for the community at large.

Guardians (Seaimpín)

The Gaiscioch Family Guardians are an advanced part of the Veteran Members group and serve as the front line of our family. They help newer members learn about the family, our website, and our belief system. They occasionally will need to help get conversations back on track, or report misdoing's to the family elders. They act as advisors, guidance providers, and overall protectors of the family name. By this time a member should be involved in the family for more than 6 months and has been an active attendee in family events. For those who prefer fellowship over leadership this is the last stop on the family tree. Members must prove their leadership ability to progress to the Leadership ranks through the accumulation of both Valor Points (Earned through leading events.) as well as earning Tokens of Valor from lower ranked members of the family.

Veteran Members have proven their devotion to the family by participating in events and contributing to the family's success. They have been active more than 90 days and have continued to be contributing members to the family.
