Varder Becomes New Leader
Over the past month, I've been working to build a better foundation for our community to grow. We needed someone with boots on the ground and a regular presence to lead us forward. With my limited time, I didn't feel I was best suited for the job or performing it at the level the chapter needed. After speaking with the other elders we came to the conclusion that Varder was the best person for the job. I will be supporting him behind the scenes and have passed the torch to him in-game. Varder has been an outstanding member of our community for years and has very similar goals and beliefs as I share. I trust Varders decisions and stand behind him in whatever he decides the community needs. Please lend your support to him as well. He has gone through great lengths to put us on the course to tackle raiding in WoW classic and I suspect he will have a lot of fun times paved for you all ahead.

The Gaiscioch Alliance is Born
In February, we have started to come into our own. We stripped the Westweg name and revealed who we are publically. We are now known as the Gaiscioch Alliance and are the 8th largest alliance in the game.
Our Gaiscioch House is rapidly filling with active registered members while we have been growing our ArachDubh House with members who have shown interest in sticking around for the long haul. House Tuatha continues to act as a filter for new members to come to try us out and either move on or pledge to become an ArachDubh. Each week we gain 15-20 new members. About 5 Tuatha members a week get bumped up to either Gaiscioch or ArachDubh. As we near max capacity I will begin rotating both the ArachDubh and Gaiscioch rosters as well to keep all 3 filled to 95 active members at all times.
We now own 4 fiefs including a town in the North West of Osteria. Westweg continues to be our main focus while we aim to be the first village in the game to reach rank 8. This is a feat that has never been accomplished before and we have the best chance of making it happen. From a warfare standpoint, we have no plans to try to take over the world. We will, however, start sending assault teams out after those who attack us. We will natively be a defensive community but will deploy guerrilla tactics on anyone that threatens our home.
I want to encourage anyone who likes medieval warfare to give this game a try. Whether you like PvP or not we have a place for you and you can fill a valuable role. This game can be played as a PvE game so don't worry about the PVP aspects of those typically put you off of a game. I can always use more Gaiscioch helping bring our ambiance to the game. There aren't a whole lot of communities like us and we are in prime position to become something memorable.

Conqueror's Blade Community Progress Report
Over the past month, we have grown our territories to include Westweg, Mainstadt, Fallenburg and Nordtal. We now own everything northwest of the river.
- Westweg - Currently at level 6. We will need a hard push of fief quests here to hit Level 7 before world reset for season 3. This is the primary fief we are aiming to hit Level 8 with if possible before the world gets wiped and we have to start over. No village has ever been rank 7 before and I would love to raise that bar even higher. This node features Copper Ore and Hides.
- Mainstadt - Our second fief currently sits at Rank 3. It is nearing rank 4 slowly but surely. This node features Iron Ore and Hides.
- Fallenburg - This fief we are simply maintaining at Rank 2. It has both Cotton and Lumber.
- Nordtal - This is our first Town and features our very own Auction Hall. It has no resources but awards random skill pages for ownership. It currently sits on the cusp of Level 7 which we do not intend to upgrade past as it would raise the resource cost too high.
House wise our three houses continue to progress.
- House Tuatha - Rank 5 - Constantly filled to 95 members rotating our the longest AFK to invite the new players. We rotate active players who log in to discord and/or register to our website to ArachDubh or Gaisicoch.
- House ArachDubh - Rank 4 - Our Active Member house is currently sitting at 53 players and is the owner of Mainstadt and Fallenburg. Each week we maintain control of these two fiefs, members receive silver and unit kits in the mail. Our goal is to have ArachDubh at 95 players by May.
- House Gaiscioch - Rank 5 - This is where all our permanent registered members live. This house controls Westweg and Nordtal bringing in silver, unit kits, and skill pages each week for ownership. To join this house members must be registered on Gaiscioch.com.
On the Alliance Front, we are currently in a trade agreement with IronOrder and the PastryEmpire. We have also been helping the Cohorts quietly on the side giving them refuge and low taxes among our fiefs.

Portal Knights Server Renewed for 6 More Months
The Gaiscioch Jr. Portal Knights server has been renewed! With this we had a bit of a fright as it looked that we might lose our data after the renewal debacle, however with the help of the server provider, we managed to recover everything and get our server up and running again.
In other news, Portal Knights received its second expansion this past month titled: Druids, Furfolk, and Relic Defense. Some of the features of this new expansion include:
- PLAY AS A DRUID! - Embrace your “wild side” with this new, playable class capable of shapeshifting into fearsome animal forms!
- PLAY AS A FURFOLK! - Create your very own member of a proud, new race with customizable fur colors, ears, muzzles, and more!

- BRING YOUR FRIENDS TO FAYNORE - Host other players on the Furfolk islands of Faynore! Note: only players who own this expansion will be able to use items found there.
New World Alpha Underway. NDA Reminder
Some of you have found your way into the New World Alpha. Please be advised that the alpha is covered under strict NDA. Anyone caught leaking information may be removed from the community. We work closely with developers, but to do so we must earn and protect their trust. Any breach of that trust hurts our community. So please be sure to only discuss New World on the official alpha forums.
Once Beta Launches the NDA will be removed and we can celebrate with much talking and sharing. We are very much looking forward to seeing how New World turns out and how much interest it generates with the community. It's definitely one of those games we didn't expect to fair well among our ranks and this new shift in design has made the game accessible to a wider audience.
